I pay my taxes , I pay my rates.
We live in a village living in the past.
This is just the way 85 year old Tom Jones wants to keep it
1. We have no email address for council
2. No agendas and minutes online
3. The village gets very little grant money
4. Tom Jones and Colin Bithell were up to giving White Lion planning approval BEFORE
village grants ( Section 106 monies) were finalised. ( it's council minuted)
David Williams and Cindy Hinds were not happy with this.
You need to ask yourself who Tom and Colin were batting for on this.
Was it the developers, the county council? Or was it a political ploy for personal advantage?
Can someone explain the logic of giving the developers what they want without getting what Penyffordd wants. As a form of negotiation "it sucks".
5. When the Multi Use Games Area was being built councillors were being negative.
These are the same councillors who has sat on their hands whilst Penyffordd has been
overtaken by most other villages with regards youth facilities.
These are the same cllrs patting themselves
on the back over stuff they had little to do with. ( PACA)
Your choice. Vote Tommy Trout in for another 4 years.
He'll be 90 at the end
After the election he will have a council majority, this is 99% certain.
Final thought. What's the sum of the ages of Joe Bell and Tom Jones
who are standing as councillors.
I think its 165 years.
Something to think about.

Oh forgot ! Tom Jones has an email address. He considers it unnecessary for you to be able to contact him in an easy manner.
ReplyDeleteYour choice plebs !
"Tommy Trout"
ReplyDeleteHow very immature
In this day and age, all councillors should be contactable by email.
ReplyDeleteThe following councillors have email addresses ( Typed in any order)
ReplyDeleteDavid Williams
Linda Vidamour
Cindy Hinds
Tom Jones ( but he hides his)
Oh dear I repeat myself..........
ReplyDeleteIt's worth repeating though.
Cllr Stan Davies,
DeleteCllr Edwina Davies
Cllr Linda Vidamour
Cllr Tom Jones
Cllr Jane Hopwood
Cllr Margaret Jones
Cllr David Williams
Cllr Cindy Hinds
Cllr Colin Bithell
all have E-mail addresses but they might not want to be bothered by Colin Hughes about Chester Road and the wine circle.
So, let me get this right, Colin is continually criticised for saying that he is making this personal, and yet, the councillors serving (and let's not forget that they are there to serve) the community in which Colin lives, have chosen to not to publish their email addresses so that they aren't "bothered" by ONE of their constituents. If this isn't personal then I don't know what is!
DeleteI think you have probably hit a few raw nerves around the village. Nobody has ever challenged Tom's Magic Circle before, no bad thing. We need progress, it was never on Tom's agenda, in fact it was never in his vocabulary.
ReplyDelete*Cllr Stan Davies,
ReplyDelete*Cllr Edwina Davies
Cllr Linda Vidamour
*Cllr Tom Jones
*Cllr Jane Hopwood
*Cllr Margaret Jones
Cllr David Williams
Cllr Cindy Hinds
*Cllr Colin Bithell
Those marked with an asterisk are not in the public domain and never have been. They are not on any council minutes or literature. They have never been on the council board at the Post Office. They are totally hidden from residents.
They stand for council yet on their terms only.
I see that Margaret Jones has done the right thing, Margaret has a sense of honour. Allowing new people to step forward. As opposed to Tom Jones aged 85 and Joe Bell aged 106. Sorry make that 110 the photo on the election literature is 4 years old as is every one else's on that sheet.
Declaration of Interest I am Colin Hughes standing as a Penyffordd Community Cllr I am 57 years old.
Forget the issue over email addresses - the more pressing issue is the "casting away" of the Section 106 with no consultation or discussion.
ReplyDeleteI find it disgraceful that two housing developments can be built with no recompnese to the surrounding communities.
To sign both developments off without the Section 106 is nothing short of a scandal, and perhaps a measure of those recommending it!
Totally agree. Do we seriously need these additional developments. Section 106 comes in very useful.
