A Letter to Carl Sargeant with regards to Traffic Calming for Penyffordd

Carl Sargeant AM
Welsh Assembly

Dear Carl
Hope you and your family are well and that you are finding your new role in The Welsh Assembly fullfilling.
Can you get someone to give FCC a poke to see where we are up to and what we are having.
At the moment I have heard nothing about calming from middle to out of village
This is a BIG bugbear. Many many cars and lorries and buses accelerate at full
power from the Post Office to out of the village as well as piling into the village.
I have emailed Charles Hughes (Head of Engineering) he is a bit shy in replying. :) He is most probably too busy.
An email reply is fine but the Postman is very impressed by the flow of Welsh Assembly and House of Commons envelopes. Soon perhaps to be joined by EU envelopes. :)

regards Colin

ps. in my opinion any system that does not stop cars doing over 30 mph, ie verticle platforms or doesn't give out speeding points is just a token.

pps I intend campaigning for 20 mph COMPULSORY outside the Post Office and for other villages in Flintshire. Wrexham have them everywhere.
