Bernie is right it is something that I am very concerned about. the Community Council are in the process of planning a workshop in the village date to be confirmed. The Council did a survey but the response was not brilliant. Residents need to talk to the Community council or we could end up losing the service
ReplyDeleteIf the public transport through the village was better then maybe more people would use it. Nobody seems to know the exact places the buses stop anymore as there are no clear markings as there used to be. Plus the buses which currently run through are so few and far between they're almost pointless - they don't even have one going direct to the business park in Chester anymore which is ridiculous! They could do with bringing the shuttle buses which commute to the main business centres in the area (i.e. Chester Bus. Park, Wrexham & Deeside) to Penyffordd given it's one of the bigger villages in Flintshire.
ReplyDelete"Nobody seems to know the exact places the buses stop anymore as there are no clear markings as there used to be." Good Point. Me, I hate buses, love cars.
