Former bookings clerk has removed phone number from Institute notice board. No secretary phone number available. No Cllr Tom Jones phone number who is chairman on the web.
Customers wondering what's happening.
Lisa has to go to the Post Office to take Tom's number off the Community Council notice board.
Welcome to Penyffordd 21st century. I offered to do a village website for free with free running costs. What do we get? An embarrassment with loads of dead pages. Come on David admit defeat. You haven't the time or inclination.

How about putting Penyffordd councillors who hide their email addresses on David? Our conditionally elected representatives.
postscript: Institute vacancies may be premature..........
prevarication the order of the day.
Who was it who sung " When you see a chance take it" ?
Stevie Winwood of course.

If you'd done a website, it might be free, but it wouldn't be good. It'd only be a rubbish site like this one that only uses basic blogging coding.
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteA basic site can be done with Blogger.
No coding needs to be known, basics learn't in half an hour. It can be added daily by any councillor. Current status of Penyffordd Community Website. No meeting agendas, no minutes, no list of names addresses, telephone numbers or email addresses. Just like Cllrs Tom Jones and Colin Bithell like it. Time for them to go.
Blogger is a cheap and nasty site that most professional bloggers move away from as soon as they realise how bad it really is. It wouldn't be suitable for a community site and it's ridiculous to suggest that it would be- Penyffordd would seem like more of a laughing stock than the current site makes it.
