Memory

Can you remember what you did and said on a certain day two years ago? I have trouble with last week or even half an hour ago. It does however depend on subject matter. Cllr Arnold Woolley who has been castigated for keeping detailed notes on a daily basis has been having a little trouble. The Labour led Welsh Assembly Government must be loving this.
As a tool the Public Services Ombudsman is perfect to keep councillors in their place. Especially non Labour.

Klaus also thinks the Ombudsman a good idea. Alex Aldridge and the fragrant Carolyn Thomas are fed up with him so are thinking of complaining to the WAG.
Klaus says he will be loosing no sleep.

  1. The knives are out and not just from the Labour contingent. If I were Arnold Woolley, and today I am very glad I am not. I would retire before this situation gets any worse.
Do some travelling, get an allotment but get the heck out of the backstabbing hell hole that FCC has become!

  2. Is backstabbing not standard in multiple party local politics? One of the main imperfections of democracy?

  3. Klaus is always good for a laugh. On a serious note: Should a man who's honsety has been brought into question be leading this Council? How can Flintshire residents have any faith in a Council lead by a man who allegedly mislead a tribunal?
These are serious questions. Cllr. Woolley should be suspended until the hearings are concluded, and then he would do well to consider his position.

  4. Well Cllr Woolley does say he made his statement “as honestly as I was able”., which kind of says it all I think.
