  1. Interesting comment regarding the illegal use of Penymynydd Road by residents from surrounding housing developments.

"try using, if at all possible, another route".

Cindy appears to have forgotten that anyone using the restircted section and not complying with the "access" requirements is committing a motoring offence which carries a fixed penalty fine.

If the restriction was regularly and properly enforced with tickets issued, then people would dissist in using it as a short cut.

Nice to see Dobshill got the speed limit reduction - I bet given the track record of this section of road, it will be enforced, unlike the above.

Finally, re: children not getting into CA school and the Section 106. Perhaps the Communitiy Council should have had that written into the S106 before hading the cash over?

  2. In my opinion Penymynydd Rd should have been made a cul de sac with an area reserved for emergency services to reach all houses. The end of an issue that has gone on for 30 years.

Due to rush hour traffic the new White Lion estate will become a rat run for those in the village wanting to head north from the various estates surrounding it.

NWP do not have the resources or the will to do this sort of policing. They have handed over policing of parking to Flintshire County Council.

Re 106 money. You are correct in your thinking but would FCC agree to such terms? Have they ever agreed to such terms elsewhere?
