is to remove its air quality monitoring equipment in Penyffordd. One presumes this is the white unit on The Penyffordd Institute field. They feel the air quality is so good that monitoring is not required as previously done. Castle Cement will continue to monitor their own air quality.
The stack monitoring equipment will stay in place
Castle Cement's equipment has been described as antique in some circles. Perhaps they have upgraded?
The independently run charity Emission Watch will continue to monitor Castle Cement with their highly sophisticated equipment.
