Notices have gone up in Chester Rd / Penymynydd Rd for the extension of double yellow lines. This part of the village is old. Houses built with no parking facilities.
My neighbors have 7 cars, sometimes 10, parking for 3.
Cafe customers park here as its too difficult to park at the cafe.
Friday there was a row outside here when a cafe customer parked across 2 of the 3 parking spaces.
Penyffordd Institute have banned parking on their carpark.
Parking on Chester Rd actually slows traffic down.
PCC are not interested in a calm village environment. They think planting a few daffodils does the job.
We have a bypass but we are used as a major short cut.
Welcome to the new caring Penyffordd Community Council, the new social cohesion.
I expected better with new faces but its the same old same. No different to the Tom and Colin days.
Spar parking with the addition of the new yellow lines is going to be interesting.
