At last! I hope it is an sincere interest not just a vote catcher for the forthcoming election.
ReplyDeleteWish you luck it is long overdue.
Thanks. One has to be pragmatic, politics happen. There are not too many votes in Chester Rd. There is however the safety and environment of children and OAP's.
ReplyDeleteI hope Cllr Tom Jones political leader of Penyffordd Council is not going to drag his feet over traffic calming. His recent spat over the wine circle grant money not encouraging.
Anyway we shall see !
Why should people who choose to drink wine be granted public money? I don't ask for charity to go to the pub to drink beer!
DeleteMr (i guess) Anonymous, you should check the history of comments, we have been here before, you appear to be repeating yourself.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely right! The wine circle is as deserving of a grant as any other group within the community. It has its role, it brings people together who share the same interest.
