Thank you to the residents who emailed me his age. So that will make him 89 years old if he gets through the next 4 years.
Time to go Tom. You had your chance to sort Chester Rd out but environment and safety on Chester Rd were of no concern to you and your cronies, Cllrs Colin Bithell. Linda Vidamour, Edwina and Stan Davies, Margaret Jones, Joe Bell and Jane Hopwood.
So be gone, not fit for purpose.

Yeah Gods!!! Time to call it a day Tom!
ReplyDeleteThis County is full of dinosaur councilors trading on their antiquated ideas. Let's get some new faces on board.
ReplyDeleteAgeist.
ReplyDeleteYes Ageist but pragmatic. With age comes decrepitude.
ReplyDeleteStubbornes.
Before the last election when the late Joe Davies was a councillor Tom's controlling contingent must have had an average age of 8 cllrs of 75 years of age. Or was it 9 cllrs?
ReplyDeleteCllr Tom Jones doesn't like council websites that disclose council minutes and agendas online. He hides his email address from Penyffordd residents.
ReplyDeleteHows that for a 21 st century councillor? Controlling to the end.......
I think the 3rd comment was directed at me. No I am not Ageist at all. But there comes a time when people should retire and stand aside for the common good. Cllr. Tom Jones has had a clique and a tight control on Penyffordd for far too long, that is why he has got his own way. Not for the good of the village, but for power, that's what it's all about.
ReplyDeleteHis cronies follow suit because they don't want to fall foul of Tom. This situation has to come to an end. New faces on the Council please, the only way to go forward.
Re Tom Jones clique. I presume that is why David Williams stood at the last election. The people behind him were sick of the lack of vision and stagnation with regards youth sports facilities and other matters.
ReplyDeleteRe Tom's clique --
ReplyDeleteTo be sure everyone excepting Linda Vidamour should step down on the grounds they are not fit for purpose.
The Government must also be ageist then as they make everyone retire at 65 / 70!
