Dave Goodban in The Flintshire Chronicle reports on the turning of Hawarden Airport into a regional setup. Airport bosses say light passenger aircraft will be used. It won't be like Gatwick.
The last line in the article has airport bosses saying Hawarden will provide a fast convenient alternative to Liverpool and Manchester.

Well said Colin. None of the local Cllrs. seem to care about noise or pollution. It's all about getting a feather in your cap for a handful of jobs and there is no guarantee they will go to local people.
