Perspectives and prostates
Today a bit of a funny day, things going wrong. The news that someone I know has advanced prostate cancer that has reached his bones puts my little troubles into perspective. The medical people are talking of extra months to live (less than a year) should he subject himself to the torture of chemotherapy.
His female homone therapy has shrunk his bits to nearly the size of female's but has not stopped the cancer. Testosterone is thought to advance the disease.
The prostate's position and linkage to other body parts seems a design fault by our inventor in my opinion. Why should it have to interfere with urine flow?
One wonders what causes this little organ to malfunction.
Is it lack of or wrong nutrition, genetics, a virus or bacteria, lack of use, too much use? Most men do not even know where it is or what it does.
I know of people who would not subject themselves to Chemo. A big decision.
