Having had a few issues over the years with the Inland Revenue and VAT including CCJ's one is a little incensed with how MP's are treated. Former Home Secretary Jacqui Smith was let off with a Common's apology. The Revenue don't normally do apologies, it's repayment with interest and stern warnings about withholding any other issues they have not been told about.
