The Wood Lane 220 house development well under way. Alan's Skips and Hollingsworth lorries back and to from the site all day. Footings and scaffold shooting up. I seem to remember a junior football field next to Nigel. A glance sideways the other night reveals a building site. This was the football field that couldn't be used because of sheep grazing?
A strange affair.

Perhaps only strange as I don't know the ins and outs.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure this field had attracted public funds in the past.
just a thought where the £234,ooo that was promised gone !!!
ReplyDeleteI notice that your not moaning about the amount of large tipper lorries thundering though the village now !!!!!!!! May wimpy have offered you a good deal on a new house ?
ReplyDeleteI presume comment is aimed at me. lol
DeleteI don't moan at everything
The tipper lorries are a temporary phenomena, traffic hammering through the village
every day has been up to recently a permanent fixture.
What does a new Wimpey home have to offer?
High levels of insulation, square nicely plastered walls.
No maintenance for quite a few years.
On the other hand little privacy, small gardens, too near a noisy trunk road.
