BLM continued updated

BLM/Antifa thugs in London are now hunting lone veterans and football lads in packs, not a policeman in sight. Penyffordd Cllrs sleep  well in their beds after virtual signalling......

Blacks with gang mentality.. Thugs..

postscript: 20 black lads roaming around central London with machetes last night. I won't upload the photo of the white lads arm that was nearly hacked off.

Yes lets end racism Penyffordd Cllrs.

Penyffordd Community Council BLM

https://www.penyfforddcouncil.org/penyffordd-council-work/2020/6/13/black-lives-matter-here-too

This is disappointing for many reasons.

Last time I looked the village was over 95% white
Penyffordd Council 100% white

Nothing more than virtual signalling.

postscript: Just looked on my Twttr timeline. In London today, people of colour slashing a white man's throat whilst police watch, another stamping on a white man's head. They're going around in groups looking for white people to attack.

Safe distance street parties

The peasants have revolted and are now holding street parties.
Well done.
It will be interesting to see if some low life reports them to the police.
Lets hope not.

Flintshire Recycling - Coronavirus

FCC Tweet

For the time being, due to available space on site and to help reduce queues, high sided vans or trailers are not permitted at recycling centres (smaller car-derived vans/4x4s can enter). We are working to allow access to permit holders in the next couple of weeks.

Coronavirus Puzzle II

Text from Welsh Assembly Government Tweet

What does ‘stay local’ mean? We’ve deliberately not defined this because “local” may vary across Wales. We’re asking you to use good judgement. For example, travelling from Cardiff to Porthcawl to exercise on a beach, or Ruthin to Snowdonia to walk – is not staying local.

---------------------------------------------------------------

WTF

Can I travel 8 miles up the road to walk my dog in the middle of nowhere without being persecuted by NWP?

#wagidiots

Coronavirus Puzzle

Riddle Me this

No one in Penyffordd ( as far as I know) is objecting to outsiders visiting or going through the village.

Daily Post reports that residents who live in the middle of nowhere are reporting drivers to NWP for going near Moel Famau which is in the middle of nowhere.

I have a feeling that a farmer would shop me to the police if I drive to where I normally walk the dog.
I won't be giving him that pleasure though, plenty to do.

Coronavirus Queues

The British seem to have a propensity for queueing. First it was the supermarkets then DIY stores, now its the skips. Flintshire are still closed but I think will be opening next week with ridiculous regulations which will be gold plated.

Here's Wrexham BC. If going to a skip in Flintshire you will need proof of residence I presume. I'll leave it a month or two. I find Nerquis quiet normally. Buckley will be mad.

On top of proactive arrests, dealing with all 999 calls and incidents across the town today, Rota one response officers alone have stopped 344 vehicles since 7 am in order to conduct necessary journey checks in Wrexham Town. #StayHomeSaveLives

Seems to be 1 case of coronavirus related death in Penyffordd.

FWIW the data is highly inaccurate. Numerous complaints on Twitter of deaths being recorded as a result of coronavirus when in fact it was pneumonia, cancer, etc. Relatives are highly upset.

NWP stopping residents leaving village

Apparently NWP are stopping cars leaving the village to question residents about their destination. On whether its essential.

We've got a few dodgy journeys to do over the weekend. It involves making money to pay our council tax and keep NWP on the road. We have a cunning plan using the lanes. Have you ever been to Golly?

Coronavirus Update Wales

Tesco Broughton Queue

This morning earlier was an hour wait.

Our strategy is to get what stuff we can delivered. Tesco online queue starts new at midnight for future slots. Difficult to get a slot though.

Other stuff we get from Penyffordd Spar or any local Aldi, Co-op or Lidl.

Virus News

I like the village at the moment, eerily quiet. Not a short cut racetrack.
A return to Penyffordd of 50 yrs ago.
I'm not hearing the idiot on a motorbike with an illegal exhaust at the moment. Can be heard half a mile away.

Just the Spar / Post Office open with takeouts from Jemoleys and Red Lion.
Construction continues of The Institute and the new housing estates.

Boris's gradual managed temporary shut down of the country is to be commended.
His main adviser Dominic Cummings a man of huge intellect
https://dominiccummings.com
Our fake news media hate him lol.

I've had a chat with a dog walker this morning who has a qualification in Psychology on crowd behaviour. It will be interesting to see how this pans out, people of common sense versus the idiots

Virus Update

A reader informs me

Been informed by local delivery man, that a local aerospace company have isolated a driver that came in from France. He was showing symptoms.  Not sure where he has been isolated.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Advice seems to be.

1. If you have a constant cough or fever, self isolate
2. If its still happening after a week ring 111.

Don't go to your doctor or a hospital. 111 will tell you what to do.

Corona Virus Update

Public Health Wales refuse to tell N Wales doctor if his patient had the Coronavirus. You can't make this sht up.

Something to bear in mind.
1. A bar of soap and water will destroy the virus.
2. It affects mainly old people especially those with breathing or immune issues.
3. Flu is more infectious and kills more per 1000 infected.

Comments are worth a read below.

Penyffordd Social Inclusiveness

When the first batches of the large developments were started FCC held meetings in the village with regards social inclusion.  The Main Penyffordd Facebook is a good way to find out what is going on. Events, crime, local issues.

A local FB group has been set up exclusively for certain streets in the Groves. If you don't live there you cannot join or see. Turns out someone has been knocking on doors trying to relieve residents of money.
Information that is of interest to the whole village but is not available
FCC appear to have been speaking to wrong people.

Penyffordd Crime

An hour ago I saw 2 police cars in Crossways  (12.30 lunchtime)

A concerned resident informs me just now...........

Thought you might to know last night at 2:15 we had 2 police cars in Ferndale Close for about 2 hours.
Early hours of night a neighbour had his kitchen door lock drilled out, they entered the house to take his car keys, while he was asleep upstairs with wife and 2 children under age of 3.

Apparently while the police were with them last night, the car had been traced to Chester City Centre, it was steal to order. Another car was nearly taken in the village in Oak Drive but the dogs disturbed them.

His car a BMW.

So was someone was cruising around the village recently looking for cars again.
The guy has builders in and the amount of charity sacks we have through the door.
Personally I think Charity Sacks.

postscript. Attempts to steal  BMW's in Higher Kinnerton has been happening.

Sponsor a tree...... Penyffordd Community Council

https://www.penyfforddcouncil.org/tree-planting/penyffordd-sponsor-a-tree

I have a tree I can see out my window. Over a 100 feet high, possibly the highest tree in the village.

Eucalyptus it is. Keeps its leaves whatever the weather, magnificent.  Where we walk the dogs is an estate that was developed 1832. Spoils of the Napoleonic Wars. Giant beeches that did not show their beauty when planted but ideal for the few that traverse this area.. Such vision. May it remain secluded.

A New Years Day walk around the secret lake

It's not really a secret lake but not many people in Penyffordd know about it. We accessed it from Stryt Isa. Not much parking, room for about 3 cars near the footpath. You walk over the field, over the official railway crossing to get to the lake. Part of the walk is on FCC footpath, the other part on a permissive footpath courtesy of the owner. Takes about 45 mins to walk around, a bit muddy in places.

Met the owner on the way around. Had a chat about the lake etc.

Also met Klaus Armstrong Braun former county councillor.  Had a chat with Klaus for half an hour or more. He was armed with a camera and binoculars. I asked if he was a twitcher lol. He says no.

He still keeps an interest in environment, in this case the wet lands around the lake.

Klaus of course ruffled a few feathers in the village over footpaths and in many other wards. Telling me about landowners, crossbows and guns lol.
