Dog Thieves

are visiting Penyffordd and surrounding villages and towns.  They usually have a white van, 2 or three of them. They will use violence to separate you from your dogs. They mark the front of houses/gardens so associates know where the dogs are. They can be East European, have a strong Irish accent or Asian. Details and photos are all over local Facebooks. It is happening nationally.

I have a lot to say on this but will end up with a police warning so I'll just leave it as above.

Someone is looking around gardens and house perimeters late at night. In Drury and last night Penymynydd.

Keep windows and doors closed.

Penyffordd Crime

An hour ago I saw 2 police cars in Crossways  (12.30 lunchtime)

A concerned resident informs me just now...........

Thought you might to know last night at 2:15 we had 2 police cars in Ferndale Close for about 2 hours.
Early hours of night a neighbour had his kitchen door lock drilled out, they entered the house to take his car keys, while he was asleep upstairs with wife and 2 children under age of 3.

Apparently while the police were with them last night, the car had been traced to Chester City Centre, it was steal to order. Another car was nearly taken in the village in Oak Drive but the dogs disturbed them.

His car a BMW.

So was someone was cruising around the village recently looking for cars again.
The guy has builders in and the amount of charity sacks we have through the door.
Personally I think Charity Sacks.

postscript. Attempts to steal  BMW's in Higher Kinnerton has been happening.

Bus News

The removal of direct bus services continues.
I'm reading that there will no longer be a direct bus to Chester from today.
This of course hits older people who do not have transport.

As a teenager using Crosville to get to school I developed a life long allergy of public transport.

Someone opens a door, dogs rush to door, intruder retreats.

Two night ago someone is escorted from a house in Fammau View by police, a car involved.

Miscreants cutting holes in hedges, removing fence panels in the Berwyn Avenue area last night. Petrol strimmer stolen.

A group of individuals seen sneaking around one of the new estates at 3am, Friday or Saturday. CCTV footage was on Facebook. Now taken down after a neighbour complained about his house being on the film.

Last night someone had all his tools stolen from his van on the Groves estate. Also a house was wrecked elsewhere looking for car keys.

Attempted break in of van on Wellhouse Wednesday night. Failed due to owner having special locks.

The vehicle was taken from a driveway on Wednesday Evening near Padeswood.
