Inspector Alun Oldfield enforcing 30 mph in Saltney

As Inspector Oldfield is in charge of Penyffordd we could do with him up here to stop the 370 vehicles each day that do more than 35 mph through our main street that is 30 mph.

Daily Traffic Levels for Penyffordd along Chester Road

ArriveAlive who were present at the meeting had
monitored traffic over the previous 5 days.
The average per day is in the region of 2800 vehicles !
Chester Road has become Penyffordd's SECOND By - Pass
20,000 Vehicles a week.
1,040000 vehicles a year
That's over a MILLION
This is BEFORE the new A55 exit at Warren Hall.
Also BEFORE Warren Hall Devolpment.

WAKE UP! PENYFFORDD!

Flintshire County Council have a duty to protect our village environment under the Local Government Act 2000. They are not protecting our village environment.

Traffic Watch

Motorcyclist coming from Millstone up Chester Road Time 20.40 pm
Speed past Penymynydd Rd 70 - 90 mph.
Speed estimated at top of hill over 100 mph
A physical traffic calming measure does not allow this to happen
