I should add that both the Conservatives and Labour stood on a Brexit ticket at the last General Election.

Travellers spotted in Penyffordd
Travellers are currently staying in Mold
http://www.leaderlive.co.uk/news/165669/traders-slam-travellers-for-moving-in-on-car-park-in-mold.aspx
Villagers have spotted two white pick ups near the Institute field. Children were seen coming off the field then getting into white pickups.
An emergency stop for toilet duties?
Or a fishing trip for a new site to temporarily reside?
The current open gate policy at the Institute may need to be modified.
Maybe very quickly.
This of course will be a PIA for the village residents with regards use of our facility.
Cindy and David are on the case.
Its about time certain actions are no longer tolerated.
Does Brexit give us the option?
Our national political leaders continue to fail us.

Penyffordd Institute
Cllr Cindy Hinds in her recent newsletter mentions a possible upgrade to the Institute which is showing its age. An architect has been appointed. Mark Tami MP and Carl Sargeant AM have been contacted
This is good news.
I think the Institute Committee should improve their communications to be inline with 21st century practice. A contact email on their notice board, one on the Penyffordd Community Council board and website.
It's current profile similar to Penyffordd mason's lol
It's easier to contact President Putin of Russia than book the Institute for a do.

That Mark Tami is a very nice man
Mr Tami did not support a major airport at Broughton, arguing: “It is in a very built-up area, and we have two perfectly good airports at Manchester and Liverpool. We do not need to expand any service at Broughton; we need to ensure it is easier to get to and from the airports at Manchester and Liverpool.”

The Energy Debate
It's all getting beyond a joke. I have the ability to lower my energy bill, a lot haven't.
Energy costs affect many services and most products for sale. Our elected government ( small g) seem happy to let the energy cartel extract the urine.
I've sent an email just to my elected MP Mark Tami telling him his boss Ed Miliband has done the right thing raising the stakes on this issue.
I had an email reply within 2 minutes from Mark thanking me for my comment.
Democracy at the speed of light.
As opposed to Penyffordd.................
Saying that Cllr Cindy Hinds is prompt with replies.

Mark Tami MP in The House debating Energy Security
speaker:Mark Tami : 1 Commons

====================================
Opposition Day - [7th Allotted Day]: Energy Market Reform (24 Oct 2012)
http://www.theyworkforyou.com/debates/?id=2012-10-24a.929.1&s=speaker%3A11267#g931.2
Mark Tami: Does my right hon. Friend agree that, while it is all very
well for the Government to have a mythical lowest-tariff policy, until
they have a coherent energy policy that ensures security of supply,
prices will continue to go up and uncertainty will remain?
speaker:Mark Tami : 4 Westminster Hall debates

Mark Tami: I agree totally with my hon. Friend. Does he agree that in
the past the argument has wrongly been seen as a choice between
renewables-such as wind-and nuclear, when they are part of the same
package?

Mark Tami: Does my hon. Friend agree that, although we have the skills
base, if the certainty is not there or people do not see it, they will
look for jobs in other sectors and that that will be a loss to the
energy sector?

Mark Tami: I was about to make that very point. If Mostyn had been
unable to expand into other areas, the whole cost would effectively have
fallen on to Airbus, because that is the route that the A380 wings take.
There would not be a feasible alternative route, and that would impinge
on whether the work was at that factory.

Today in The Daily Post
The end of the A483 at the A55 is going to get an upgrade. This is the junction with a silly pre roundabout that is difficult for an HGV to get around beside a car in the other lane. The number of idiots that try to go around this joke of a roundabout doubled up with HGV is troubling.
If you allow an HGV to go around the mini roundabout on its own you get muppets behind you pushing. You can see the looks on their faces. Go on get going, what's the problem !
So plenty of holdups here.
Which MP do you prefer? Mark Tami or David Hanson. You soon may have to make a choice.

Carl and Marx are coming to town
If you have any issues just turn up. People are usually seen on a first come first seen basis.
My issue is that the Welsh Assembly should pay the costs of traffic calming for Chester Rd and other areas of Penyffordd affected by the new A55 Warren Bank exits.

Time for North Wales Police Authority to go
in The Daily Post
"Police Minister Nick Herbert made clear PCCs “will not be expected to run the police”, but will be the voice of the people, holding forces to account, and allocating budgets worth tens of millions of pounds."
Our MP Mark Tami supports the current system where police management are unaccountable to the people they serve. Where NWPA have no real power and are of little practical use.
Our local Penyffordd councillors support NWP in their non traffic policing in Chester Rd. It costs votes you see. It upsets the speeders.
It is fair to say NWP have been pathetic in their action over speeders on Chester Rd. Not interested , nothing to do with us.
It would also be fair to say that speeders are not just a Penyffordd problem. A quick scan of the papers this last week reveals, a young man killed in Anglesey, a pensioner killed on the outskirts of Wrexham, a car run into a house in Rhyl, a car on its roof in Wrexham. It just goes on and on. Our politicians do not care, from community councillor to MP.
Certain political groups are saying the police should not become politicised. If they did their jobs properly on law and order we wouldn't be in the state we are today. Armed burglary, stabbings, diesel pinching, metal pinching not a policeman in sight. All safely tucked up in bed, doing paper work or on a diversity or gay awareness course......
Time for change?

The Milky Bar Kids are coming to town
and will be in the Penyffordd British Legion on Friday 4th November between 1 and 2 pm. (Mark Tami MP and Carl Sargeant AM, Assembly Minister for Roads and Communities.) to look at your concerns and issues.
I have been to see them about speeding through the village. They have helped not at all, although they do know WAG have vandalised the village by not protecting us against A55 Warren Bank traffic
They are however up against the dark forces of evil, Flintshire Highways and North Wales Police who stand in the way of any community who want serious speed reductions.
Since Flintshire County Council are doing a large foot dragging exercise with extremely high Olympian qualification bars for compulsory 20 mph zones is it not time for Carl to get serious, he is after all head of Welsh roads.
All this red tape to justify simple community decisions needs to be swept aside. Here's something to make your name Carl.
Are you for the "Jeremy Clarksons" Carl or are you for long suffering Welsh communities? Flintshire Highways and NWP want a good kick in the pants. Are you the one to do it? You have the power, use it for the good of communities.
ps I am of the opinion that police kill more people on British roads than the supposed blood bath that would happen with a reduction in speed limits through communities. ( What other excuse do police have for their foot dragging apart from the fact they currently have the power to do so?)

A Model for Cllr Arnold Woolley Flintshire Council Leader
Not sure where this has originated from but it look good. Needs to include methods for stopping traffic hammering through Flintshire communities such as Wrexham Borough Council strategy.
Also keeping HGV to trunk roads.
This is a start though.

A maverick mayor elected after promising to slash council spending, clear the streets of yobs and ditch politically correct services is the torchbearer for how towns should be run.
On his first morning as Mayor of Doncaster in South Yorkshire , Peter Davies cut his salary from £73,000 to £30,000 then closed the council's newspaper for "peddling politics on the rates".
Now three weeks into his job, Mr Davies is pressing ahead with plans he hopes will see the number of town councillors cut from 63 to just 21, saving taxpayers £800,000.
Mr Davies said: "If 100 senators can run the United States of America , I can't see how 63 councillors are needed to run Doncaster "..
He has withdrawn Doncaster from the Local Government Association and the Local Government Information Unit, saving another £200,000. Mr Davies said, "They are just talking shops".
" Doncaster is in for some serious untwinning. We are twinned with probably nine other cities around the world and they are just for people to fly off and have a binge at the council's expense".
The mayor's chauffeur-driven car has also been axed by Mr Davies and the driver given another job. Mr Davies, born and bred in Doncaster, swept to power in the May election with 24,244 votes as a candidate for the English Democrats, a party that wants tight immigration curbs, an English Parliament and a law forcing every public building to fly the flag of St. George.
He has promised to end council funding for Doncaster 's International Women's Day, Black History Month and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender History Month.
He said, "Politicians have got completely out of touch with what people want.
"We need to cut costs. I want to pass on some savings I make in reduced taxes and use the rest for things we really need, like improved children's services".
Mr Davies has received messages from well wishers across the country and abroad as news of his no-nonsense approach spreads.
Now it's your chance to spread this most sensible way to run a town council.

Welsh MP's and AM's have no pride in North Wales
Why is it that every weekend N Wales is used as a race track by bikers with illegal exhausts?
Many 100's of bikers scream along Penyffordd Bypass and many other roads in N Wales.
Carl Sargeant AM, Mark Tami MP and Mark Isherwood AM - guilty. Why do we pay them, they just talk.
The Welsh Assembly Government wants more powers. The above to me proves they are not fit for purpose.
