  1. No 6. Grant Applications - Lets hope councillors you will not allow individual members to exercise vendetta against village institutions of which I'm a member as has happened in previous years. ( on 2 occasions) Will Red Lion patron councillors make a declaration of interest before the meeting starts? One hopes you will make grant information available even if you do all the horse trading off minute.

  2. One hopes the commemorative bench will be suitably vandal proof. Hard times still not with us?

  3. Perhaps an apology is required to council. Forms are normally available then council says who gets what. Is this year going to be different? All seems a bit too communicative to me.

  4. What irked me was Tom and Colin blocked an application for a grant, two years running ( its minuted) to a group which I belong to and no one stood up to say what they were doing was unfair. Two objections and 8 cllrs sitting on their hands. Had I killed someone ? No I stood up to a situation where 2000 cars a day were breaking the speed limit ( FCC have data ) on a major route to school. No I don't dwell on it. The above shows a certain sickness. Hopefully this has now past.
